17-year-old Vera (a magnetic Luciana Grasso) is bored with her life. She divides her days between volleyball and school, plus a secret hobby: she rents out an empty apartment to teenagers looking for a place to have sex.
From her distracted mother (Inés Estevez), who manages several properties, Vera steals the keys to an apartment and organises everything for the young couples. Yet, what starts out as a way to make money, develops into Vera's discovery of her own sexual desires. The teenagers come and go, using the apartment for a few uninterrupted hours. Playing invisible, Vera stays behind the closed door, as she listens to other people’s pleasure.
A comedic and erotic tale of growing up in Argentina from debut director duo Romina Tamburello and Federico Actis, VERA AND THE STORY OF OTHERS is a story of desire and female sexuality that features a visceral soundtrack.
